How do different people interpret different images?

What stories do we invent to fit in with suggested narratives?

What does a face convey and how far does imagination take us when asked to make sense of things?

These are some of the questions I aim to explore with these linocuts. In each image we see a face with a black background, an open but suggestive title and a slight facial expression, each face is looking at something or someone but the viewer doesn’t see that, and somehow they still try to come up with a reason for the title, an interpretation of the facial expression and a totally invented scene or scenario that these faces are looking at.
