Alannah Plekkenpol
Alanna designs from her home-studio in county Wicklow where, inspired by her Dutch connection, she creates art on tiles. Her pieces really are wall art with a difference! Alanna’s hand painted illustrations on the tiles are a playful and humorous take on traditional Dutch Delft Tiles. So every design features playful details, in which traditional Dutch Delft Blue patterns contrast with modern elements using a combination of digital illustration and collage.
As Alanna says, she’s ‘creating happiness – one tile at a time’! And here in The Narrow Space, we love them!
