Originally from Philadelphia, Laura now works out of her studio in Loughmore, Co. Tipperary, where inspiration is drawn from the ever changing yet always beautiful Irish landscape.

Her paintings illustrate the emotions of life in Ireland and its breath taking landscapes, through colour and texture using both oils and acrylics.

The landscapes and semi abstract pieces work between the juxtaposition of smooth and soft as well as impasto, textured pieces.

Laura uses still life paintings to personify fruit, illustrating situations in our lives; sometimes emotional but often humorous.
